NSW Mental Health Branch and the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI)
The NSW Mental Health Branch and the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) offer a range of scholarship opportunities to NSW Health professionals, including nurses, peer workers and allied health staff. These scholarships support students through completing formal postgraduate study (Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Masters), offered through the Applied Mental Health Studies Framework.

Adult Mental Health Scholarship – CLOSED
Child and Youth Mental Health Services Scholarship – CLOSED
Older People’s Mental Health Scholarship - CLOSED
Trauma Informed Care and Practice Scholarship – CLOSED
HETI Awards in Psychiatry and Mental Health – Psychiatry Special Training Award, Mental Health Research Award. Applications for the 2025-2026 Award program opens 10 July 2024 – 18 August 2024.
Australian College of Nursing
Explore the opportunities provided by the Allied Health Continuing Professional Development scholarship, designed for mental health nurses, allied health professionals and psychologists. This scholarship offers students a chance to engage in studies within mental-health related fields, including participation in short courses, conferences, or workshops. Each scholarship is valued at up to $1500. – CLOSED

Australian and New Zealand Mental Health Association
The Australian and New Zealand Mental Health Association are offering three $5000 study grants for students who are enrolled or enrolling in a course that leads to a mental health qualification (Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Bachelor Degree). – CLOSED
