Listening to Voices – Theatre Performance, Wagga Wagga

  • CSU Riverina Playhouse 8 Cross Street Wagga Wagga, NSW, 2650 Australia (map)

Free theatre performance of the award-winning Listening to Voices.

This free theatre performance of the award-winning Listening to Voices will be held in Wagga Wagga.

See, hear and feel the journey of ordinary people as they share their experiences of voices, depression, anxiety, diagnosis, life, loss and ultimately, hope. This powerful performance is something rare and important that balances humour alongside tough topics such as suicide to ultimately unite us all in the human journey.

Listening to Voices is crafted by those with lived experience of mental health challenges, and will offer you an intimate and unforgettable glimpse into the realities of voice-hearing, trauma, and recovery. It inspires critical reflection and builds a framework of respect, understanding and hope in workplaces, educational settings, and communities.

The performance will be followed by a reflective Q&A session with the performers, allowing you to engage deeply with the stories shared on stage.

This is a Gateway Health initiative and sponsored by Three Rivers DRH.

Are you a local educator, academic or service provider? In addition, we are offering a free face-to-face workshop that will be held the next day, on 31 October, from 10am to 3pm at the Charles Sturt University Library, Wagga Wagga campus. Register for the workshop.
