Free face-to-face professional development – Listening to Voices

This free face-to-face professional development for local educators, academics and service providers will be held in Wagga Wagga.

Sponsored by Three Rivers DRH and delivered by Gateway Health, this workshop will consolidate and translate what you learned from the evening performance into your teaching and professional practices.

Please note: To attend this workshop, you must have attended the evening performance the night before (30/10/24).

Training objectives

  • Promote the Listening to Voices suite of resources for education and learning and offer consultation on utilising in curriculum.

  • Introduce academics, educators, and the broader community of Wagga Wagga to lived experience narratives to build empathy and understanding.

  • Increase knowledge and awareness of the needs of people experiencing psychological distress, mental illness, and trauma.

Tea, coffee and lunch will be provided.
